Per the current City of London Garbage Ordinance each tipper can be used; is to be charged at the current garbage rate.
Most City customers have two cans currently but are only being charged for one can, if you choose to keep both cans you will be charged in accordance with the ordinance for both cans. Customers wishing to only have one can will need to contact the Public Works office at 606-864-5521 to schedule the pickup of the additional can. All customers wishing to only utilize one can is urged to notify the Public Works office on or before February 15th, 2023. Any customer using two or more cans will be billed in accordance starting with the February billing cycle.
